Privacy Policy

This page sets out what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

01Who we are and what this covers

Logistics Solutions is a freight forwarding company based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. This policy explains what personal information we collect through logisticsol.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

It covers this website — including the contact form and the quote request form — and the information you send us by email or phone when you ask us about a shipment. It does not cover other companies' websites we link to, which have their own policies.

02What information we collect

Contact form. The type of inquiry, your name, company, email address, phone number, and whatever you write in the message field.

Quote form. Your name, company, email address, phone number, and the shipment details you give us: origin, destination, shipping mode, cargo type, weight or volume, cargo ready date, and any notes you add.

Correspondence. Anything you choose to include when you email or call us, or in documents you send us while we arrange a shipment.

Technical information. Our website host keeps routine server logs, which record technical details such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.

We do not ask for payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or other sensitive categories of personal information through this website.

03How we use it and on what basis

We use what you send us to reply to your inquiry, prepare and discuss a quotation, arrange and carry out the transport services you ask for, keep you updated while a shipment is moving, meet customs and other regulatory requirements, and keep our own accounting and business records.

We rely on your request and on our contract with you where you are a customer; on our legitimate interest in operating this website securely and in responding to the people who contact us; and on our legal obligations where customs, tax or transport rules require us to record and report information.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use what you submit through this website for advertising.

04Who we share it with

Freight does not move without disclosure. Depending on the shipment, we pass the details needed to carriers, shipping lines and airlines, trucking companies, customs brokers, customs and border authorities, port, warehouse and delivery partners, and to insurers where cover is arranged.

We also use service providers that keep the website running: our website host, and Resend, the email delivery service that forwards form submissions to our inbox. They handle the information only in order to provide those services to us.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

05International transfers

International shipping is cross-border by nature. To move and clear a shipment we send the necessary contact and cargo details to carriers, overseas agents, customs authorities and delivery partners in the origin, transit and destination countries, which may be outside the United States. We share only what those parties need in order to handle the shipment.

06How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and quotation records for as long as we need them to deal with your request and to have a record of what was discussed. Shipment, customs and accounting records are kept for the periods required by the applicable tax, customs and commercial rules. When information is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for, we delete it or put it beyond use.

07Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete it, to object to or limit certain uses, and to receive a copy in a portable format. You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages at any time.

To make a request, email contact@logisticsol.com. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on it, and we will not treat you any differently for asking.

08How to contact us

For any question about this policy, or to make a request about your information, write to contact@logisticsol.com. The phone number and business hours shown on our contact page reach the same team.

This policy is a general template prepared for our website and will be reviewed by our legal counsel before it is finalized — if anything here is unclear, or you would like more detail about a specific shipment, please write to contact@logisticsol.com.
